I ♡ Romania #2

Hi dears,

The second beauty you definitely must know about my country is The Bran Castle.

Situated in Transylvania, near Bran and 30 km away from Brașov,  the castle built in the 14th century is a national monument and landmark in Romania.

Commonly known as Dracula's Castle, although it seems like Count Dracula never lived here, the castle is now a museum open to tourists, displaying art and furniture collected by Queen Marie. At the bottom of the hill there are cozy barns where romanian peasants exhibit and sell self made souvenirs.

Famous artists and directors have chosen The Bran Castle as their set. Bram Stoker was inspired by it for his "Dracula", "Blood Rayne" was also filmed here, as many romanian films. Even Natalia Oreiro, the uruguayan singer and actress visited the castle and filmed her video for Como te olvido.

So if you are touring through Romania, don't miss this spot!
If you wanna be part of a really spooky Halloween party, Count Dracula invites you to a scary night tour. This year, the party was hold on 27. October, but stay tuned for next years event!

I hope you all have a great week and enjoy my little Romanian Tour I give you on Monday.
